I graduated from the University of Technology, Faculty of Electronics in Wroclaw, Poland, with the degree of Master of Science in Engineering.
I am also a graduate of Macquarie University in Sydney with a Bachelor of Arts degree (Psychology).
Engineering career
A few years after graduating from the University of Technology I moved to Australia and settled in Sydney. I worked there in several electronics, telecommunication and IT companies, including leading corporations such as IBM Australia.
After some time, I started to specialize in software development. Then I started my own small software development company and took up contract work in this field.
After many years of technical work, I started to look around for alternatives. I enrolled in a psychology course at Macquarie University in Sydney.
After graduation, I continued to work in the IT industry for many years. In parallel, I continued my studies with a range of courses on human development, psychotherapy, and leadership.
Career change
When I returned to Poland in 2003, I was no longer interested in technical roles. I was looking for opportunities to work with people. I started to conduct training for companies, as well as my own development workshops.
Between 2004 and 2010 I cooperated with the Institute of Psychoimmunology in Warsaw as a psychotherapist, trainer, and coach. I conducted training for managers on stress management and soft skills. I created new training programs for managers. At the same time, I learned how to conduct coaching.
In 2009-2010 I studied coaching at Integral Coaching Canada. In 2010 I received the Integral Master Coach™ (IMC™) certificate.
This helped me to obtain accreditation from the International Coach Federation. In 2012 I obtained the Associate Certifed Coach (ACC) credentials, and in 2015, I was credentialled as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC).
Since 2010 I have been working independently as a professional coach. This role is the culmination of my long-term efforts to perform work related to my predispositions and interests. I see serving others as a coach as a privilege and an opportunity to constantly learn and to relive the richness of being human.
